The International Conference on using innovative forms and methods in prevention of human trafficking will be held in Kyiv

Due to the new challenges in countering human trafficking the organizers of the Conference aim to acquaint the specialists with the new forms and methods of prevention activities and to present the new possibilities that informational and computer technologies provide to make prevention of trafficking in human beings.

The Conference will cover such topics as:

• Safe Internet for children;
• Internet resources (web 2.0 technologies, social networks, blogs etc) in anti-trafficking activity;
• Innovative forms and methods of anti-trafficking prevention (flesh-mobs, theatres, street-actions, virus marketing etc.).

One of the most important issues that would be covered during the Conference is addressing new tendencies of trafficking in prevention work and addressing trafficking from the human rights perspective with regards to other human rights violations (such as gender discrimination, domestic violence etc.) as root causes of trafficking.

The format of the event - plenary session and master-classes, trainings.
